I was really pleased with each of these outcomes. I think the most successful is the one with the ‘B’’s tumbling off of each other. I think this is the most visually interesting outcome. I think my least favourite is the ampersand and ‘B’ outlines. I think this is a bit lacking. I did experiment with colour to try and bring it to life but the greyscale felt the most appropriate. I was happy with the ‘Q’ and ampersand outcome but I struggled with where to place the text.
During the critique, I was told to clean up my lines in this piece. I also was suggested to make the graphic a copper colour to resemble the copperplates in which Baskerville was formed. I actually really liked this so I fixed the lines and added a copper colour.
