Choosing Colour and a Type Face

I chose the type face ‘Sofia Pro Soft’ as it is a very legible type face that is friendly for those who struggle with reading. I felt it was paramount to use an accessible type face.

I chose this colour scheme as the blue is associated with trustworthiness which is something I want this brand to be for the users. I incorporated an element of analogous colour scheme. with the incorporation of the red and the pink as I feel this works well for branding.

Layering Up Low Fi’s

Now that I had established a colour scheme and a type face, I could begin adding these and also icons from an icon foundry to bring these screens up to more of a high resolution. I find this stage of the process very satisfying as it brings the project to life.

Prototyping

I wanted to put my best foot forward when it came to the prototyping of this dashboard. Given the nature of a dashboard, there are a lot of components per screen and things can get very complicated when it comes to prototyping without the proper use of components.
