Having completed solid research and ideation of the general demographic I would like to design for, I decided to fully realise the users through user personas. A lot of the use cases I could hypothesise were in slightly older generations (over 40’s) however this isn’t exclusively a service for older generations. I also created an empathy map for Julia Shaw to fully conceptualise the experience of a potential user before using the potential product/service.
<aside> ⭐ REFLECTION: Creating these user personas and empathy map has set me up nicely to begin designing the UX of this service with confidence that I am designing user centrically. I feel that the next stage for the project is to apply these users to a solution/product to help generate ideas. I want to focus on the experience first, such as the completion of tasks, rather than making any solid design choices first. This will come in the form of user flows and story boarding.
