As part of the deliverables, I have to redesign 5 of the SDG icons. The current icons for the goals I have chosen are as follows:
I created thumbnail sketches to pull together some ideas as to what way I could redesign these icons.
I decided to tap into the ‘it’s in our hands’ sub theme of the essay for my icon design. I thought incorporating hands into the icons would lead to a cohesive set of icons that would be visually interesting. I sketched these both big and small to see how well they worked reduced down to smaller sizes.
