⭐ REFLECTION: REFLECTING ON MY PRESENTATION

HIGHLIGHTS
I felt very confident going into my presentation. I think this is because I was assured in my idea and felt as though I knew the intention behind my project very well. As my idea was something that I was passionate about and that I was a target user, I felt that I would be able to argue its purpose quite well. I was extremely happy with the design of my slide deck. Again this plays into the whole idea of “fail to prepare, prepare to fail”. I prepared a very engaging slide deck which in turn feeds into the over all engaging nature of my presentation.
I had practiced the presentation many times so I knew exactly what to say during each slide. This meant I spoke confidently when I was presenting. I am very well adjusted to speaking in front of an audience due to years of being a professional musician, so this didn’t really phase me. I wanted to keep the tone as friendly and passionate as I could.
I got very positive feedback from the panel about my presentation. I was commended for my presentation skills which I feel was testament to my abilities and has filled me with confidence going forward.
OPPORTUNITIES
Overall I was very pleased with the outcome of my presentation. Upon reflection, perhaps I could have interposed some more statistics about dietary restrictions to fully drive home the necessity of this product. I also didn’t include any competitor analysis but for the reason being that there wasn’t really any direct competitors to this product as it is truly unique in its market.
