In this class we learned about the importance of spacing, grids and text hierarchy. We focused on the importance of font in the first exercise. Choosing an appropriate font for the text is extremely integral to the UX.
Using the text I used for Frankenstein, I then created a basic screen interface with an image, continuing to focus on text hierarchy. I also payed consideration to the background colour in relation to the image while also taking into account accessibility guidelines.
We then dealt with a bigger piece of text in a web desktop format. My first attempt I used typescale to size the text hierarchy in an appropriate manner.
On the second attempt I focused on better composition and larger text which would make it more legible for the user. It looked more like a webpage in this format which I preferred.
